Review Section! Where I give my thoughts on games, movies, food, or literally anything else that could possibly be reviewed!
A NEW DELTARUNE TRAILER HAS DROPPED
And damn I really did not expect it to show up in the switch 2 direct, which I should probably make its own blog, but regardless HOLY SHIT NEW DELTARUNE FOOTAGE AND A RELEASE DAT HOLY SHIT! So obviously were gonna be analysing every single fram with anything interesting in it to see all the lore implications.
First things first I think it's worth mentioning that this railer uses music that was previously unused and meant for a deltarune intro. Not really too crazy but neat that the music didn't end up being unused after all. Perhaps in the full game release there will be a really sick intro. I'll bring this point up later in the analysis because theres something neat that comes up.
Next up is this part with Susie and Kris. Susie is seen sitting on the ground while Kris comes over to help her up.
This is obviously to show how Kris has positive emotions towards Susie and ocnsiders her a real friend. If you know about tea theory you would know that Kris tea heals Susie and vice versa, which suggests that they both genuinely like each other. This is relevant for the next part of the trailer because we see Kris walk up next to Ralsei and they just sorta stare at each other.
In chapter 2 if Kris drinks Ralsei tea it heals the least out of any character tea, suggesting that Kris does not like Ralsei, which follows with what we see in the trailer, although it might be a bit of a stretch. Now the lore reason for Kris not liking Ralsei is mainly because hes sort of a puppet for Gaster who is holding back information and only wants to serve the Player. I don't think Ralsei is a bad guy but he's definitely hiding something.
Anyways next cool part of the trailer. 
This part seems to be from chapter 3 and is a team attack with the Shadow Men we first saw in the Spamton Sweepstakes. They appear to be doing some team attack where they have to shoot to "knock the socks off of" the Shadow men. They also are all in little suits similar to the nurse attack from Chapter 2. I believe this attack was teased before but it's neat that we get to really see it in action.
Next up is this minigame which is in the Switch 2 version of the game. 
The switch 2 joycons have a function where they can be used like computer mice and I believe this is how the minigame will be controlled. This is very similar to the Switch exclusive Mad Mew Mew fight which used a special soul mode based on the player having two analogue sticks. According to the newsletter this minigame will be different in every other version of undertale (Switch, PS5, etc.).
Next up is a minigame where they have a sort of guitar hero thing going on. 
The main thing here I think is neat is that Susie can't be controlled, which plays into her character of not listening to higher authority and sort of doing her own thing. I can almost guarantee that Susie is gonna do some crazy awesome shit later in the game, possibly in a future weird/snowgrave route.
The next part is REALLY crazy in my opinion because it's basically confirmed where the chapter 4 dark world will be. We can see that as Susie and Kris are climbing up the collapsing dark world there are what appears to be stained glass windows. 
We can see similar windows outside the church in deltarune so I would say it is essentially confirmed that chapter 4 takes place in the Church Dark world. Something also important to mention is that Kris and Susie have much darker colors. Obviously their colors change when they go from the Light World to the Dark World, which suggests to me that with them having these darker colors they will be going into some sort of darker dark world, Perhaps a double dark world like what Berdly was intending to create at the end of Chapter 2. It's already been teased with the Spamton Sweepstakes with one of the pages saying "but what if it could go darker than dark". If you know about Oblivion theory you would likely be familiar with this chart of the different teirs of reality in Deltarune,
so perhaps this new dark world could take place in the depths? I don't know! But needless to say this darker dark world looks interesting as hell and I think Chapter 4 is gonna be the best chapter yet.
For this next part with the Chapter 3 teaser they have Tenna here. 
Still don't know what he looks like entirely but I'm fine waiting until the game comes out to see. But the really neat part is the next preview of Chapter 4. 
We see Kris and Susie in their darker colors with some sort of fuzzy bug things coming after them while they run away. I'm guessing this is part of that chase sequence from the other Chapter 4 preview.
Okay now to the thing I mentioned at the beginning with the intro. At the end of the trailer we see the crew on some hill looking out at something bright. Upon further examination this bright light appears to be a save point and even has wings?! This thing is clearly the angel, I mean it's even in the shape of the delta rune. Idk what this really means but I think it's just a really cool visual.
Okay last thing is that we have a release date! June 5th! I'll be honest I thought it would be sooner, then again I thought there was a good chance of the game coming out in 2023 so what do I know. We also have a price which is 25$, even more than UNDERTALE. Honestly this is an insanely good deal for how high quality the game is and I think the next decade is going to be ruled by $20 Indie games, especially after seeing how Nintendo is charging $80 for games now like I am not paying for that I'll take stardew valley for $15 thank you. Like I said i should probably make a dedicated switch 2 rant but I'll save that for the future.
Well there is a countdown on the deltarune website so I guess I'll just count the days until the new chapters. I'll see deltarune in 62 days.
