SO I finally figured out how to make a website... kind of. I'm using this thing called hekoru website layout builder. it pretty easy to use and I like having the cool gifs and i think it works pretty well. I wanna try using this as some sort of blog that i'll try to update whenever I'm able to.
On that point I should probably talk about hos i got a job as a camp counselor in California! kind of insane im honestly still shocked that I got it. I have a vacation just before I got to it which mean that I only have 8 days left in my state. It's gonna be really weird being so far away from home, but I have a lot of good friends in California so I'm not too worried about that.
In other news have you guys seen the new Undertale/Deltarune newsletter? pretty neat although I am kinda convinced at this point that chapter's 2 and 4 won't come out until 2025. Which is totally fine! I don't want the game to be rushed just for my enjoyment, "a delayed game will be forever good" as it's famously said. But man I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since chapter 2 came out. It feels like forever ago! I was a totally different person from who I am now. Even though the wait is long its fun seeing all the fan theories and fanart and just literally anything people come up with. Undertale Yellow came out in December and that game was fantastic. I think my only real criticism is that there's a lot of random encounters in the pacifist route, although it makes the genocide route much more enjoyable since you aren't running for hours trying to kill monsters. The music is also insanely good I still listen to it to this day even though I haven't played the game for a few months (I mean it's not really the type of game to be replayed a bunch of times tbh).the bosses are really good too. I like the yellow soul mechanics, and it's kind of made me realize how its just infinitely better than any other soul mechanic. Like the spamton neo fight in deltarune was cool I can't see there being any other gimick battles like that one. Like what are we gonna have a muffet purple sould themed battle? i dont think that would be very fun.
Another cool fan game I played was deltatraveler. the whole game was kind of made as a joke but it's honestly really fun to play. You start out in undertale world and it basically goes as normal until the end where there's a fun flowey fight. The second world is an earthbound world and there's a cool mechanic where kris and paula team up as one character and you can use PSI attacks.then you fight pokey as the boss for that world. After that you go into Underfell world and there's a sans fight that is actually fun and not just spamming random garbage at you. There's also a bonus UNO mode which is always a good feature to have in any game. The game also made me actually cry at some parts, not to get into many spoilers but it's just a really well written fan game. Also the geno route is brutal like it hit all the same chords that Undertale's geno route hit with me when I fist discovered it.
Ok I feel like this is a little too much rambling. Honestly I dont know if i'll be able to keep this up for every single entry but i'll try to make more entries whenever something cool happens in my life. I'll also just try to add more cool stuff to the website. I wanna have a thing where a cat chases your mouse like nyan crimew has on its' website. but thats basically all for now thank u for reading and have a wonderful day!
